The Men’s Brotherhood at Bear Creek Community Church
Led by Brotherhood Director, Anthony Clay
Anthony Clay is a devoted husband, father of two grown children, and a faithful servant of God who came to know the Lord at an early age. With a natural love for helping people and a heart for ministry, Anthony found his spiritual home at Bear Creek Community Church in 2017, under the leadership of Pastor Dennis Webb, Sr. From the very beginning, his purpose was clear, to support others in their walk with Christ and encourage spiritual growth within the church body.
He first served as a volunteer with the Neighbor Feeding Neighbor Ministry, where he offered hands-on service and compassion to those in need. His consistency, reliability, and gentle leadership opened the door for him to step into greater responsibility.
In 2024, Anthony was appointed Director of the Brotherhood Ministry by Pastor Webb, a space where men can grow in godliness, accountability, and strength through the Word of God. The mission of Brotherhood is to build up godly men in a relaxed, supportive environment, where they can be transparent about their struggles and sharpen each other in faith. As part of this mission, Anthony has been encouraging the brothers with daily scriptures every morning, providing a steady source of spiritual nourishment, motivation, and connection.
“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” – Proverbs 27:17
He also leads Sunday Morning Corporate Prayer at 9:00 a.m., helping to center the men of Bear Creek in prayer, unity, and purpose each week. Anthony is committed to being available to his brothers, whether through prayer, conversation, or simply showing up with a listening ear and a word of encouragement.
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” – Psalm 133:1
To Anthony, Brotherhood is more than just fellowship — it’s a sacred calling to walk alongside one another in truth, strength, and integrity. He continues to serve with humility, believing that when men are equipped by the Word and supported in love, they can lead their families, churches, and communities with boldness and grace.
“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.” – Hebrews 10:24
