Minister Derrick G. Wilkerson

Minister Derrick G. Wilkerson is a charismatic leader who currently serves as an Associate Pastor under the leadership of Pastor Dennis Webb Sr. Senior Pastor of Bear Creek Community Church in Irving TX. Minister Wilkerson was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. After the death of his father in 1982 his mother and all five of his siblings later moved to his mother’s hometown in Mc Comb Mississippi in 1987.

Transitioning from Chicago to Mississippi did not stop his battles with drugs and alcohol addictions. While in Mississippi his cousin took him to a revival where he would meet Elder Freddie Bonds senior pastor of True Light Holy Temple who took minister Wilkerson in as his Godson and poured the word of God into him he later received his call to preach the gospel in 1994 and was licensed and ordained in 1998 under the leadership of Elder Freddie Bonds. Min. Wilkerson has been preaching and teaching the word of God for over 25 years.
He currently serves as Director of the Bear Creek Counseling Center. Through his charitable works Minister Wilkerson extends help to the needy, compassion to the hurting, and empowerment to the oppressed. His services extend from the church and into our communities. As a certified addictions recovery specialist and licensed Christian counselor he is a beckon of light to families in our communities that have loved ones suffering from compulsive addictions.
Minister Wilkerson is also the owner, author, publisher and illustrator of Uncle Dee’s Fruit Tree’s Children’s books each book provides children with lessons on how to learn and practice fruits of the spirit. Minister Wilkerson has been gifted with the rare ability to reach broken people and is anointed to articulate and deliver Gods word with simplicity, insight, spiritual enrichment and power. He is one of the most Influential African American men of our generation. He and his wife Alicia Wilkerson reside in Irving TX.

DENNIS L. WEBB
Senior Pastor
Pastor Webb currently serves as Senior Pastor to Bear Creek Community Church. Answering God's call to lead a generation of women, men, and children from multi-cultural background has been rewarding and impactful Irving, Texas and the surrounding areas. Pastor Webb also have a passion for serving the community and being a leader. As Irving City Council newest member, he is a practical leader fighting for the residents of Irving, Texas.

LYDIA N. WEBB
First Lady
1st Lady Lydia N. Webb is one of the pillars of Bear Creek Community Church from it's existence. As the Church Administrator, Secretary, and Finance Officer, she is often found working many roles. Most importantly, she is about her Father's business. The passion she have for Ministry and Community service is unmatched. 1st Lady Webb is an example for the women of BCCC, her family and many others key figures she interacts with.

Minister Ray Bryant and Wife
Minister Ray Bryant was born August 26, 1951, on a Sunday at 4:05pm to Ida Ray & Perry Bryant in Corsicana, Texas. Only child in this relationship yet the oldest of 8 boys and 5 girls. Attended Albuquerque High School and after High School moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Enlisted in the Army in 1971-1974 served as a hospital corpsman/ambulance driver.

Met my wife Miss Mary Wade in 1976 and married in August 1977 and we have continued to grow more in love ever since. We have 3 children, Shunta, Brittany and Shaquille and 2 other children from previous relationships Cherie & Micha. I have 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
​
I was called to preach back in 1966 but I ran for 40 years. I return to my calling at Bear Creek Community Church. I currently serve as the Assistant Pastor, New Members Chairman, Trustee Board member, Elder Board Chairman and Marriage Matters Leader.
​
I received my Minister License from the Abundant Spiritual Life on 8-29-2010 and was ordained by Pastor Dennis Webb Sr.
Favorite Scripture - John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Minister James E. Green
Minister of Education
Bear Creek Community Church
Minister James E. Green was born in Charleston, South Carolina. He is married to our Sister Green (Jacqueline). James is an Ordained Southern Baptist Minister and holds a Masters degree in Ministery. He however, attributes much his spiritual maturation and Christian Education to his time spent under the tutelage of the Elders at the Brethren Church.
​
He has served in his work career as a Case Manager and Homeless Shelter Supervisor for the Salvation Army. His Ministerial background includes Associate Pastor, Sunday School Superintendent, Itinerant Bible Teacher and Conference Speaker.
​
Minister Green currently resides in Coppell with Jacqueline, their teenage son Luke and their dog Maggie.
He and Jacqueline became official memebers of Bear Creek in March of 2022, along with his mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Minister Green currently assists the Pastor in the Homeless Outreach, Sunday School, wednesday Night Bible Study, and Prayer Meeting.
​
He and Sister Green have a personal ministry of visiting the sick and shut ins, praying with and for them, encouraging them to trust in the Lord. He also writes his own Biblical Tracts to evangelize the lost and edify the saved. Brother Green loves the Lord, his wife and our church. He is happy to served God by serving others.
